About Innocent
Innocent Rwamwiza serves as the Vice President Volunteers & Social Impact for the PMI Uganda Chapter during the 2025-2027 term. As the Regional Team Lead at Uganda Episcopal Conference, Innocent brings a strong background in public health project management and community outreach to his role, focusing on creating meaningful social impact through volunteer initiatives.
Professional Experience
With over 12 years of experience in public health projects, Innocent leads a regional team overseeing the implementation of HIV/AIDS and TB projects in 3 districts with funding from CDC and DOD. He also led a team of highly technical staff providing support to 18 Faith-Based health facilities. Additionally, Innocent co-hosts a weekly radio talk show on Capital FM (Capital Doctor Show), promoting health education and awareness.
Volunteer Contributions
- Actively volunteers with PMI Uganda Chapter, leading a team that conducted an outreach at Kyambogo University in 2024.
- Led a team that organized a beach party chapter event aimed at bringing members together for bonding and meaningful connections.

Innocent is committed to enhancing the chapter’s social impact by mobilizing volunteers and driving initiatives that address community needs. His vision includes expanding volunteer engagement, fostering partnerships, and amplifying the chapter’s role in creating positive change across Uganda.
